Check out Kaipara Coast Plant Centre: http://plantsnz.co.nz/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8

Possibly Allwoods Trees (www.allwood.co.nz). They also offer a sourcing service.

It's listed by a few wholesalers (www.thirkettlenurseries.co.nz, www.appletons.co.nz, www.productive-trees.co.nz). Maybe they could help indirectly by advising which retailers they supply who are local to you.

Fast plant facts

Colleen, Geelong VIC
When needing to tie up plants in my cottage garden, I use at hand the older leaves of my daylillies as ties. Strong, convenient, aesthetic.

Palmetto

Palmetto Soft Leaf Buffalo is ideally suited as a lawn in many applications.
